Hey guys. This is my entry for the Ziddio Contest. Originally the script was much longer and coherent, but I had to lop off a few limbs to meet the time conditions (2 min.). Several familiar people are participating in this contest, as you may already know, and finally, this is a contest where the majority can't decide the winner (because the majority of people are bad, bad evangelicals).
Big Food will be my original, Halo 3 comedy series, and will probably take over the world relatively fast. All non-halo sounds were made by me, including all music and foley.
After the contest, I will release the high resolution version for download.

Equipment and Human Vehicle (P1) Overviews

Here I have 2 (of about 12) overview/tutorial videos on display. Also, they are the first 2 videos to emerge from my partnership with Machinima.com. The only icky quality, however, is the icky quality. Flash format conversion really punched these videos in their kidneys.

This first overview focuses on equipment, and how they should be utilized in battle. Personally, I think I took way too formal of an approach, though it may not seem that way to those who aren't familiar with my shit.

This Human Vehicle Overview covers the Mongoose, Hornet and the Elephant. I integrated little chase scenes to "demonstrate speed" (and to enjoy myself), and they work well to tie everything together.

Hey guys. Many new things have happened since the last update, so I'll do my best to fill you in. I am now actively working alongside Machinima.com, creating weapon/vehicle/enemy overviews and a "news" series entitled "Inside Halo." Once there is something to show, you'll know about it. Halo 3 Launch & Test Video: "PREY001"

Here is my first of many test movies to come for Halo 3. This particular scene was taken right from a Matchmaking game (yes, matchmaking, no acting).
I had to manipulate the time frame to a small degree to make sense of it.

Let me repeat, this is merely a test of the saved film feature.

Everyone knew Halo 3 would be a hit. It seems as though the replay features will unlock something amazing. Well...amazing for me. Maybe not so much for you. Unless you plan on sticking around for the upcoming series, in that case, amazing for you as well. The flying camera moves awkwardly and will take time getting used to, but it isn't much of a problem. The convenience outweighs any faults it appears to have, completely.

The Countdown

I guess I've been counting the days for weeks now, but being hours away, today has been intense. After a power nap, power shower, power soda, and another power nap the numbers melt off the clock. Halo 3 is upon me.

Episodes 1 and 2 of the new comedy series have been written in full, and now they wait beside me. I hope I come up with a title soon.

Anyway, my next update will state more than the obvious. I'm just excited.

New comedy for Halo 3

I've mentioned this before, but never in detail. I've been speaking with the guys over at Machinima.com, or rather, they came to me about putting together a comedy series for Halo 3. I've been writing it since. Great ideas have come and it's exciting my pants into flames. It could be the best thing since stop signs. Anyway, this blog will be dedicated to the upcoming series, and will occasionally pay respect to the classics.
